Around Montgomery

A young man, shirtless in the sizzling southern summer, gazes into the bulging marble-like eyes of his championship jumping frog. Is he anticipating an upcoming event, or hoisting his cool-skinned victor high in celebration of another win over lesser toads and croakers? We advise him to hold tight. A wayward leap in the wrong direction from where they stand and our Calaveras cavalier could find himself sauteed and served up in gourmet fashion on a well-trimmed dinner plate.
Find the frog, take your photo there, and send it to me by
October 15 and you’ll be entered in a drawing to win a gift certificate from Mr. G’s Ristorante. You’ll also get your photo in the next issue of Prime. And while you’re at it, let’s give the little jumper an appropriate name.
E-mail your photo and contact information to jakebroberts1@gmail.com.
September Around Montgomery FOUND
The September Mystery location, a tiny village safe and secure in the Dept. of Archives and History, is in the newly-opened First Alabamians section. Thanks to Marc Chapman for locating the village and posing, Gulliver-like, for this photo. Marc wins a gift certificate from Mr. G’s.
